Manfrotto XPRO Fluid Base

The XPRO Fluid Base from Manfrotto is equipped with a FLUIDTECH cartridge, transforming many Manfrotto photo monopods into video supports.

Constructed from durable aluminum, steel, and rubber, the base maintains a light weight of just 15.8 oz, making it ideal for professional use. The base's center features a 1/4″-20 attachment thread designed to connect with the bottom section of select Manfrotto monopods. This thread is linked to a "3D" fluid cartridge, enabling smooth pans and tilts along a single axis. The cartridge can be locked vertically to restrict movement to the 360° panning axis, ensuring smooth, level rotation. While the vertical lock allows the monopod to stand, it is not designed for free-standing use and should not be left unattended.

The base's three feet have a folding mechanism that lets them retract around the base when not in use, keeping the setup compact and portable. This design facilitates easy travel and storage of your gear while still attached to the monopod.
