Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head with Flat Base

The MVH500AH Fluid Video Head with Flat Base from Manfrotto is designed specifically for HDSLR camera bodies, featuring a wide platform for enhanced stability. With a maximum load capacity of 17.6 lb, it ensures smooth and precise movement thanks to its professional-quality fluid cartridges on both the pan and tilt axes. The head includes a pre-set spring-loaded counterbalance of 5.3 lb, a lateral tilt range of -70° to +90°, and 360° panning rotation.

The MVH500AH features a side lock system that allows the camera and sliding QR plate to click into the head from above, simplifying and securing the mounting process. It attaches to a tripod via a 3/8″-16 thread and comes with a 500PLONG sliding balance plate, which includes a captive 1/4″-20 tie-down screw and a 3/8″-16 adapter bushing. Additionally, it has an Easy Link 3/8″ connector on the side for attaching accessories like a video monitor.
